Jus Gentium International Law Association (Jus Gentium) was founded as a non-political, non-governmental organization in Paris in 2017, for the purpose of providing a network platform to develop legal, intellectual, and political influence.

Its objectives, under its charter, are “creating a network to promote new understandings, innovations and developments to public international law, and endorsing the furtherance of international respect for international law by all means“

Jus Gentium’s philosophy requires diversity in all kinds; including but not limited to diversity in thoughts. Having the awareness of technological advancements, Jus Gentium aims to work in a heterogeneous, complex environment, in which interdisciplinary creativity is much appreciated.

To reach its full potential, Jus Gentium welcomes new members with shared interests from diverse backgrounds; such as international law, economics, politics, sociology, international relations and philanthropy, ranging from academics, students and social entrepreneurs to lawyers, jurists, experts and representatives of NGOs or governmental bodies.    

Jus Gentium focuses on the interrelation between public affairs and individuals.

The main objective of Jus Gentium is to create a network to gather up and train prospective changemakers, in order to address local, regional or international challenges in the most efficient way. We believe a sound network comprising people having shared interests, coupled with the dynamism of our organisational structure will encourage productivity in policy-making and solution-finding for dealing with challenging global issues.

To realize its core purpose, Jus Gentium offers a variety of conferences, seminars, courses, institutional visits, workshops and other professional or academic events. The association promotes and makes use of educational and training courses inspired and led by innovative thinking in international law and beyond.

Our short-term goal is to find strategic partners for our tailor-made projects and to spread the privilege of Jus Gentium Membership among individuals and institutions throughout the world. Jus Gentium welcomes as members all those interested in its objectives, which are pursued primarily through the work of its project-based committees, and the focal point of its activities is the series of Annual Conferences, which will provide a forum for the comprehensive discussion, the open exchange and interaction of people, knowledge, and services.

The core of the intention of the association has always been about exploring the unknown, by thinking across boundaries through state of art techniques. Jus Gentium creates intellectual and physical environment that encourages research in all its forms.
